Kid Mohair Top: South Africa

Angora goats are the rock stars of the fiber world.  Their long locks!  That luster!  So silky!  And even though their fiber is flame resistant, please don’t hold that lighter up yet.  Better to swoon from excitement.  Angora goats produce mohair.  The locks are gorgeous soft, silky, and have an incredible sheen.  They take dye extremely well and can be blended or spun alone.  With a 25-45 micron count, mohair is a versatile fiber with a multitude of applications.  Move over Mick Jagger, there’s a new kid in town!
