International Fleeces cares a lot about the world, animals, and you. Our business is based on some fundamental concepts like quality merchandise, great customer service, secure transactions, and fair pricing.

Fair Trade
International Fleeces brings you Fair Trade certified products whenever we can. We adhere to the basic principles of fair trade in our business practices. We pay our farmers fair market prices that they set themselves, try to make sure that none of our fibers production comes from child labor or prison labor, and try to make sure that the producers of fibers are making a living wage at minimum. We will never want to take advantage of anyone providing us with products. You can read about fair trade on the Fair Trade Federation website.
Animal Welfare
Animal welfare is important to us personally. Each one of our fleece providers are caring and humane towards their fiber animals. You can rest assured that your fleeces came from happy sheep that have been raised kindly.
One of A Kind Fibers
International Fleeces understands your desire to spin new and unusual fibers. We share the same need! You won’t find any common big brand name fibers in our shop as we import almost all the fibers we carry ourselves. They are truly unique fibers to most US spinners. We pledge to continue to bring fleeces that are unavailable or only available in limited quantities in the USA to you. Please let us know if you have a particular fiber wish at sales@internationalfleeces.com. We will try to make it come true.
Organic
As more people are discovering day by day, overuse of chemicals is destroying our environment. International Fleeces tries its best to buy as many organic products that are available. Organic farming techniques help the process of undoing some of the damage caused to ground water, soil, air, etc. It is a way to heal our ecosystem and is good for animal welfare. Eco-Friendly
International Fleeces started by using Green Way PCW boxes and recycled boxes from other vendors, Nature Flex biodegradable cello bags, 100% recycled bags, and biodegradable raffia ribbon. We have had to start using Kraft boxes as the Green Way boxes were very weak. When they start making a stronger box, we would love to use them again. Our printing is done by GreenerPrinter.com.

Ordering information
How do I order online?
Browsing
You can locate the item you are looking for by doing a search located in the top right hand corner of each page, click on a tag in our tag cloud at the bottom of every category page, or simply look through our category listing on the left. Items are in alphabetical order.
Selecting An Item for Purchase
Once you have found a product that you would like to view, click on the view product icon. A page will open up with product details and general information. When ordering the product, you may have to choose a variation of the product, like color choice for example. Click on the variation to choose which item you would like if you are given a choice of multiple products. Now you can choose the quantity you would like by typing in the number of desired items in the quantity box. You can now press the “add to basket” button. Off your items have gone to the shopping cart. You can add more items or remove items as you shop and also before you finalize your purchase by updating your shopping cart as needed.
Proceeding to Check Out
When you have finished your shopping and would like to purchase your items, click on the “Go to Checkout” link under your order amount total in the upper left hand side of the page. This will bring you to your shopping cart. Please review your items to make sure the quantities are correct at this time. If you would like to purchase more of the same items, you can change the quantity number in the quantity box and press the update button next to the quantity box. If you would like to remove an item, click on the “X” in the remove box that is after the price listing.
Calculating Your Shipping Price
To calculate your shipping price, please enter your state and zip code. The page will automatically reload to calculate shipping costs for domestic shipments. Then click on calculate. Your shipping options should appear below in the Shipping area. You can now click on the appropriate shipping option for you. Click here for more details on shipping rates. If you are purchasing items outside the continental US, please email us at sales@internationalfleeces.com for a shipping quote. If you approve of the shipping costs, we will arrange for payment.

Paying with Paypal
Under choose a payment type, you can select Paypal and click on “Make Purchase.” Doing so will redirect you to the Paypal website. You will be asked to log in to Paypal. Once you have logged in, you will be asked to review your Paypal account payment information, after you have done this, you may click on “continue.” You will be redirected back to International Fleeces to the Transaction Results page. To purchase your items, click on “Make Payment.” You may print out your order receipt. Another receipt will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. Pricing
All of our fiber prices are given in ounces. When you view a fiber that has a price of $2.75, it is referring to $2.75 an ounce. International Fleeces sets our pricing for our products as low as possible. We will match other vendors prices on looms and wheels. Please contact us if you find a better price.
Do you sell wholesale?
We have often been asked this question and we are sorry to say that we do not at this time. Thank you for asking.
Can I make a special request?
Of course, we encourage it. We would love to act as your agent to find the fibers of your dreams and also fulfill your project requirements. Need an unusual size order, either large or small, please contact us at sales@internationalfleeces.com and we will work with you to provide you with exactly what you desire.
Do I need to make an account to order?
No. We value your time and appreciate your business. We find having to make an account for purchases on the web a bit annoying. Order freely without any strings attached. Thank you for choosing to shop with us.

How do I make a return?
If you order a product and it is not to your liking, please e-mail us at returns@internationalfleeces.com and we will authorize your return of the product in unused and original condition. We will be happy to refund to your credit card or paypal account less the original shipping costs. We will reimburse shipping costs if the return is based on a mistake in filling your order. Please put the return authorization number we give you on the outside of the package when returning goods.
Shipping rates
International Fleeces offers you Standard Ground Shipping Table Rate. Our Standard Shipping for the continental US is based on the value of the order. If you need to choose a special shipping option, as in overnight, express, 3-Day Select, etc., please contact us at 307-742-3140 so we can best meet your shipping needs.
For shipping rates outside the continental USA, please refer to International Shipping. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, please follow the guidelines for placing an order under International Shipping. We would love to ship your items to you but because of the distance involved extra charges will apply.

International Shipping
When we ship an international order, we will charge you exact shipping plus the cost of insurance for your package. If you would like to place an order from outside the United States, please email us at sales@internationalfleeces.com or call 1-307-742-3140 before placing an order, and we will be happy to give you a shipping quote as well as take your order by email, telephone, or regular mail. We could also send you a paypal invoice for your order if you prefer.
What shipping carrier do you use?
International Fleeces uses UPS, FedEx, and the US Post Office. We will choose the carrier unless you choose UPS.
When will my fiber arrive?
Most orders will arrive in 2 – 5 business days but it is possible that your package may take 7 business days depending on where you live. Orders that are placed on regular business days will be shipped within 24 hours. We do not ship on Saturdays and major holidays. If you have special shipping needs, please contact us before making your order and we will be happy to accommodate you. We ship from Laramie, WY. The further away you live from our distribution center the longer your package will take to arrive.
Tracking Your Package
When your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation letter which will include the tracking information for your package. Just follow the directions provided by the shipping provider.

Risks of working with raw fibers
Raw wool contains many things that may be harmful to you. Some of these elements may be dirt, vegetable matter, grit, dust, sheep dip, field-spray, chemicals, and the like. We stock the cleanest fleeces available. This means that they will have as little vegetable matter and no “tags”. When working with raw wool, it is advisable to have an up to date tetanus shot, sort the wool in a well aerated environment, wash the wool as soon as possible, do not eat or drink while working with raw wool, and wash your hand thoroughly when done. This advice is not intended to take the place of your physicians. We hope you will use common sense and if new to working with raw wool, contact your physician to see if she thinks it will be safe for you. International Fleeces can not be held responsible for any injury or health related problem you may contract by working with our products. Please use caution for your own sake.
